Women Empowerment and Livelihood Developing Organisation
OUR HISTORY
Weldon Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment and upliftment of communities across Tamil Nadu. Our journey began with a group of committed social activists who were deeply moved by the socio-economic challenges faced by marginalized communities. Even before our official registration on February 4, 2009, under the Indian Trust Act of 1882, our founders were actively engaged in grassroots efforts to bring about meaningful change.
THE JOURNEY OF WELDON TRUST
MORE THAN 15 YEARS OF SERVICE
EARLY BEGINNING
The seeds of Weldon Trust were sown through early initiatives aimed at addressing the immediate needs of underprivileged communities. Our founders organized health camps, educational support programs, and skill development workshops in remote villages. They believed in a hands-on approach, directly engaging with communities to understand their unique challenges and aspirations. These early efforts laid the groundwork for what would eventually become Weldon Trust.

This formal registration marked a significant milestone, providing a structured framework to expand and formalize our efforts.
